Something to laugh about—literally

It has come to our attention, here at Alkalima Magazine, that the Zionists are at it again.  This time, their outraged hysteria and dramatization is aimed at none other than yours truly.  The material they have decided to target is the video on this very page and although responding to their incessant finger-pointing and staged victim cries would perhaps have them think that we find their accusations legitimate, we decided, hey why not?  For indeed, falsehood stands no chance against its enemy, truth, nor do the illegitimacies of their claims.  So we didn’t really have to worry about that part; universal human intellect already took care of that for us.

But for those who simply lack the basic capacity to understand simple humor, we decided to take that extra time we had to break things down.  We weren’t sure if our explanation had to be phrased in one syllable words though, for who knows, they might not understand that either.  But since, “See Spot run” isn’t our preferred form of rhetoric, we quickly scrapped that approach in favor of the straight facts.  So, here goes anyway:

The video’s purpose?

The video on this page is in reference to the task of distributing the magazine that Alkalima publishes throughout the year.

The video’s message?

Our goal of distributing our magazine worldwide so that we may maximize the efforts of our staff and perhaps enlighten those who may find benefit in our work.

The intended audience?

Alkalima staff members

The reason?

To put humor in one of the most arduous tasks in a magazine production: distribution.  The “arch-rivals” reference even pokes fun at some of our “competing” Muslim student publications, when in reality we are very pleased with the other Muslim student groups’ publications from other campuses.

It’s great to know our website is getting the traffic though, even from those who like to visit it out of envy or suspicion that we receive funding from extraneous organizations or countries.  (We must say though, we wonder where their creativity will take them next?)  Keep up the good work (and advertising); we’ve got plenty of bandwidth to spare.

So on behalf of Alkalima Magazine, this video is here to stay; and please, at least ask before stealing material from others; it’s common courtesy. Although when it comes to Zionists, asking permission isn’t something they’re really used to after all.

And hey, lighten up; it’s good to laugh every once in a while.
